Letter From Max D.

Clay, I got the audio book for The Sarcastic Big Book. I’ve been rolling on the floor laughing at every line.  I’d like to use part of it (The 12 steps, revisited in this book) and the 9th step promises, in a talk about 2 months from now. Of course I’ll give full credit to the author and as a subtext promote the book.   Can I get your permission to do so?  I hope you consider it carefully as you touched on insights that I have observed but couldn’t start to describe them as well as you did.  Thank you for considering...

Letter From Dan In England

Hello from England!! I just wanted to write and say thank you for Recovery Radio.  I am almost 38 and at the time of writing, am 29 days into my sober journey. It didn’t just center on his life and what he did, it was from the point of view of a writer for esquire who had to do an assignment piece on Mr Rogers. That’s all I’ll say in case you want to see it. It was a perfect illustration of what getting out of self is all about. Mr Rogers was the...

Letter From Danny

Hi Clay, Been listening to your podcast since the very beginning.  It's fantastic, along with the books and hilarious IG page.  Thank you for bringing some extra light and levity into AA.  I wanted to get your insight on the differences between solitude and isolation in sobriety I'm a little over 3 years sober, and I've evolved into much more of an introvert as the years have passed since my last drink.  I used to be the loudest guy in the bars, the friend who stayed out the latest, and the self proclaimed "life of the party". However I've become much more calm...
